Requirements
- Police administrative courses in relevant field and specialized subject area
- Minimum 10 years of diversified police experience including at least 12 months operational experience in the relevant field and specialized
subject area
- Proven working experience in the field of combating organized crime with experience in the area of drug trafficking
- Previous liaison experience with non-law enforcement organizations (e.g. local and/or central governmental agencies, social service
bodies, non-governmental organizations, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Oversees, analyses and reports on systemic drug trafficking training aspects and provides assistance and advice, utilizing on-site visits and
analysis of reports/records (e.g. court records, inspectorate reports, assessment reports, existing strategies, etc.)
- Supervises, assesses and evaluates (reaction level, training level and performance level) all aspects of the Trainer Development Training as
well as drug trafficking training, ensuring high quality of instruction and interpretation
- Takes remedial action with regards to training materials, lesson plans, train the trainers and curriculum development
- Arranges the design and delivery of new programmes (sourced internally or externally) on a project management basis
- Provides subjects matter expertise to be used in drafting relevant curricula according to the training needs of the beneficiaries
